Seligman Celebrates 100 Years of Route 66

The Seligman Celebrates 100 Years of Route 66 Group, along with Seligman Community Outreach, and StarStruck Event Planning, are happy to announce that Seligman will be celebrating the Route 66 centennial on April 30th, 2026.

The next day, we will kick off the 37th Historic Route 66 Fun Run!

Below is our schedule of events for that day.

Thursday April 30, 2026

9:00am-2:00pm Information booth and guest book signing at Seligman Centennial Park

9:00am-2:00pm Time Capsule Viewing and Contest

9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Official Seligman Route 66 Centennial USPS Stamp Cancellation at the Post Office

10:00am Opening Ceremony and Sponsor Recognition at the Seligman Centennial Park with our Master of Ceremonies, Bob Boze Bell

All Day Seligman Historic Route 66 self-guided tour

11:00am-1:00pm Route 66 Book signings featuring Roger Nayor, Bob Boze Bell, Nicole (N.C.L.) Sarno, Efren Lopez and Greg Gaszak

11:00am-2:00pm DJ and vendors at Seligman Centennial Park

Noon-5:00pm Food Trucks serving on Old Route 66

2:00pm-5:00pm Seligman Route 66 Centennial Party on the original alignment of Route 66 (Railroad Ave) with a fabulous swing band, dancing, food trucks, & Mother Road Brewery beer garden!

5:00pm Proclamation from Yavapai County Supervisor Chris Kuknyo presented to Angel Delgadillo, the father of Historic Route 66.
